With the increasing amount of refurbishment and service upgrade works being carried out across the region, it’s common for other trades to drill through walls, floors, or ceilings to run new cabling, pipework, or ducting. Unfortunately, many do not have the knowledge or accreditation to restore the required level of fire resistance and compartmentation once their works are complete.

One of our recent projects included carrying out fire stopping works at Salford Royal Hospital, where we created compliant compartmentation zones and sealed penetrations within walls and ducting. All works were documented and certified in line with BM TRADA standards.
